Product Description

Outdoor electrical connections fail for one of two reasons: water gets in, or the connection works loose. Most connectors solve one. The M25 3-pin spring-lock waterproof connector is built to solve both — with an internal spring-retention mechanism that locks on insertion and releases only by deliberate collar retraction, combined with an IP67-rated dual O-ring seal that keeps moisture out across the full service life of the installation.

APPLICATION SCENES & PAIN POINTS SOLVED
Fountain & Water Feature Lighting
Submersible and perimeter lighting on fountains are disconnected and reconnected every maintenance cycle — often by non-specialist site staff. Screw-lock connectors require careful thread alignment under poor lighting conditions and are frequently under- or over-torqued, leading to seal failure or damaged threads. The spring-lock mechanism clicks home in a single push regardless of rotational orientation, guaranteeing a consistent seal every time without torque tools. IP67 immersion protection handles the inevitable splash and ponding water between service visits.
In-Ground & Recessed Floor Fixtures
Buried connection points face hydrostatic pressure from groundwater and surface runoff, combined with soil settlement that applies lateral stress to the cable. A rigid screw-lock body transmits that stress directly to the mated interface. The spring-retention collar absorbs minor axial movement without breaking the seal, acting as a mechanical buffer between cable flex and the sealing face — reducing the micro-movement that progressively degrades O-ring compression over time.
Bridge & Highway Road Lighting
Bridge structures vibrate continuously under traffic load. At frequencies of 5–50 Hz, threaded fasteners and screw-lock collars are susceptible to self-loosening via the Junker effect — a well-documented failure mode in vibrating assemblies. The spring-lock mechanism is immune to this: retention force is provided by a spring element that maintains constant load independent of vibration, not by friction between mating threads. No secondary locking compound or re-torque schedule is required.
Tunnel & Underpass Lighting
Tunnel environments combine permanent high humidity (often 90–100% RH), condensation cycling, and restricted access for maintenance. Connections that are difficult to re-make in confined spaces cause technicians to skip re-sealing steps, leaving live terminals exposed to moisture ingress. The one-handed push-to-lock / pull-collar-to-release mechanism of the spring-lock design allows reliable connection and disconnection in tight cable trays and junction boxes, reducing the likelihood of improper re-assembly.
Garden, Landscape & Bollard Lighting
Landscape lighting systems are frequently modified as planting schemes change — fixtures relocated, circuits extended, seasonal displays connected and disconnected. Each reconnection is an opportunity for seal failure. The audible and tactile click of spring engagement gives installers immediate confirmation that the connector is fully mated and sealed, eliminating the silent mismate that passes visual inspection but allows water ingress during the first rain event.
Horticultural & Grow-Light Infrastructure
Plant factory and greenhouse environments involve daily high-pressure wash-downs, fertiliser aerosols, and elevated ambient temperatures. The PA66 glass-filled housing resists both alkaline and mild acid exposure. More critically, the speed of the spring-lock connection — no thread engagement required — supports the rapid fixture repositioning that modern vertical farming operations require as crop rows are reconfigured between growing cycles.

Rated at 20 A / 250 VAC per contact, with a conductor range of 0.5–4 mm² and an operating temperature of −40 °C to +105 °C. Available in 2–12 pin configurations, in-line or square-flange panel-mount. Custom cable clamp sizes, colour coding, and CE / UL documentation available on request.

Key Features

  • Audible and tactile feedback at full insertion depth — no visual access to the mating face required.
  • Spring retention holds constant load regardless of vibration — unlike threaded designs that self-loosen over time.
  • Release requires deliberately retracting the outer collar. Cable pulls and incidental contact cannot break the connection.
  • Dual O-ring interface re-seats cleanly on every reconnection — suitable for installations that are regularly undone for repositioning or seasonal changeover.
  • Screw-clamp terminals wired on-site with a standard screwdriver. No crimp press or pre-terminated pigtails needed.
